Also home to the world famous 6th floor tea rooms, where a certain PeterKay made her first foray into the world of comedy. They serve good rolls too.

For many years I have subjected myself to purchasing BROKEN biscuits in a McVittie's package. Is there some economical method of packing these biscuits so that they atrrive at the consumer intact? This morning I opened, I might add, with some trepidation, a 400g pack only to find that there was at least 30% of them broken into a number of pieces. It is of no use complaining to the distributor or reseller as it is impossible to prove that the biscuits were in the presented state prior to opening the pack. The effort this morning was the last straw and I have resolved to search out a similar biscuit and move my purchases to that brand. As I have spent 17 years in Quality Assurance at a senior level I do realise that unless you have ben informed of a problem, you are unaware of it. I would expect that some consideration would be given, by your Quality Dep[artment to packaging and quality of goods on receipt. Unfortunately I do prefer your product to any I have so far tried, if and when I find a suitable substitute you have lost not only one customer but also a lot of goodwill. Yours, K J Peterson
